Benefits
First of all let me explain what a Virtual Assistant (VA) is.
A VA is a professional who is an expert in their field. VAs can perform the same tasks your Personal Assistant or administrative officer performs, the only difference is, is that a VA works from their own office, with their own equipment.
There are many benefits of hiring a VA and they are:
- NO annual leave or sick leave payments
- NO Superannuation or WorkCover payments
- NO other overhead payments associated with a permanent staff member
- NO training of new staff when your permanent staff member decides to resign, go on holidays or take sick leave
- NO downtime i.e. lunch breaks, tea breaks, social visits to colleagues within the office.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How much will a VA cost?
You only pay for the hour(s) it takes to complete the work you require i.e. if it takes one hour to complete a task, you only pay for one hour. If it takes four hours to complete a task, you only pay for four hours. That's it!
You would expect to pay around $60,000 per annum for an experienced full time Personal Assistant.
You only pay around $35 per hour for an experienced Virtual Assistant.
A Virtual Assistant can do anything your administrative officer or personal assistant can do, except we don't make coffee, but we can meet up for coffee, I'll even shout! (Melbourne area only, for obvious reasons). We do all this without blowing your budget. You won't be disappointed with our services. Read what our clients are saying about us.
Do I need to be a business or company to hire a VA?
No. Anyone can hire a VA. You can be a private citizen, student, labourer, small, medium or large business or company. Basically anyone who needs typing can hire a VA.
Do I need access to a computer?
No. Work can be sent to us by post or courier. We can also pick up and drop off (local area of Melbourne only). If you have access to a fax, work can be faxed to us. Completed work will be delivered the same way.
For our interstate and overseas clients, it would be much easier to have internet and email access.
How do I pay my invoice once received?
Invoices are PDF'd and sent via email. If you don't have email access invoices can be posted.
Invoices can be paid via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) (preferred option), by cheque or cash (please do not send cash through the post).
Invoices will be sent at the completion of each job or at the end of each month (to be discussed with the client at the start of work to be carried out).
When will my work be completed?
Turnaround time is usually within 48 hours. Of course times will vary on more complex jobs. We will keep the client up to date with progress via email or by phone.
